I'm an AUNTIE!
My sister (Heidi) and her husband (Brady) have been waiting and waiting for a proposal from the orphanage they are adopting from in Haiti....and they recently received a proposal and photos of their little guy! His name is Trey Amos, and he looks as sweet as ever. He is about 3 months old now, and looks healthy and alert and a little like his red-headed aunt. Now we are all praying that the process of him getting from Haiti to Canada is expedited - like seriously expedited. It could take over a year. But that would be no fun for anybody, so please join us in praying. I will not post pictures of him on my blog until he is officially in Canada and has my sister's last name - so stay tuned.
Needless to say, Heidi and Brady are stoked, as are the grandparents, great-grandparents, and well, pretty much everybody close to them. They are gonna be such awesome parents. Can't wait!
